Excellent Value for Money August 18, 2010

My criteria for a TV was simple - (1) Large, (2) Light, (3) Reliable and (4) exceptional value for money. After intensive researching - the LG LE5900 was the choice for me - for the price you get an amazing 47inch that is only a couple of inches thick and weighs about 19kg - easy to assemble and transport. Image quality is superlative, particularly if you watch TV in a well lit living room (like mine). However, I give it four stars because at night, when all the lights are switched off for a cinema effect, the blacks are weak - tolerable. But for my entertainment usage, which is about 1 hour per day, it works just fine. Also takes up very little space.
