I got this TV around Christmas and it brilliant. The freeview works fantastic and I've never seen such a great standard definition picture.
I have both a PS3 and XBox360 and they look fantastic.
If you do buy this TV make sure that when you get it to play around with the settings, for example, in picture setting turn down the colour, it's default is 100 and everything is a tint of red, 50-70 seems to provide the best picture, the sound is fantastic in it as well.
Blu-rays look great as well, The opening scene of The Dark Knight where there is the building with black glass will take your breath away. Also setting can eliminate black line on those movies that do produce black lines, but that may take away from the quality.

After back and forth hassle with Amazon about the dispatch date, I did finally receive the television in a timely manner. I am still playing around with the colors because the color settings are a little odd. I don't expect it will take long to fix the setting. Although it was a headache in the beginning, this is a beautiful television and worth the hassle.
Amazon did a great job of listening to my delivery concerns and meeting my needs.

I got this as a replacement for the 505 which had a screen fault (screen wasn't clipped in properly at the bottom so made it patchy) and the only difference is the 505 has a black base and the 504 has a charcoal base.
Excellent TV. Picture is quite amazing, especially on the freeview channels as it upscales them automatically! I have a Phillips upscaling DVD player attached by HDMI and the picture is just superb. I agree about the black stretch feature, its better turned off. Extremely easy to set up, simple controls and great conectivity.
Amazons delivery service is outstanding! Less than 24 hours after placing the order it was at my door!

Spent a lot of time reviewing LCD's before choosing this one but glad I did. Great value for money, great looking and great picture quality (just make sure you switch off the 'black-stretch' function). Very easy to set up and great looking TV. Very happy with delivery time etc. Would definetely recommend to a friend. Only downside is it's not full HD (1080) but you would hardly notice and it can still take HD input from xbox or similar.

did plenty of reasearch on-line and visiting electrical outlets the reviews for this lcd tv were spot on got mine super fast delivery well done amazon and city link ive wall mounted my tv it looks fantastic with its black gloss finish the freeview set up was simple i had to alter a few settings to get the best picture and the sound is excellent theres loads of settings for you on this tv so you can play about with them until you get the best settings for you its nice that the speakers are at the bottom of the tv so its not as wide as most other lcd tvs ive been well impressed with the freeview picture quality and it picked up all the freeview channels+radio stations on the 1st scan for channels some of my freeview boxs ive had to scan a couple of times to get all the channels if you get this tv you want be disappointed its sexy sleek even turned of a defo 5 star
