 Great TV - Wonderful White - Not Boring Black February 14, 2010

This is a really good looking Tele. Plus it is really a good performer in HD and good in SD (altho not the best - hence 4 stars). Despite a previous a reviewer I found the remote great to use as well as the onscreen menus. The instructions for assembling the stand are somewhat indequate despite it being quite simple - just assemble the 3 parts of the stand FIRST (base, collar and top stand), using the 3 black screws, screw it together AND THEN insert the whole assembly into the tele. Then screw the 4 silver screws in the back of the TV. The stand DOES NOT match the picture (it is flat rectangular not round) and it DOES NOT swivel (despite it being plastered all over the box). It DOES have a USB port but it appears this is used only for installing downloaded software upgrades via a memory stick and not for "viewing your pictures". It DOES have 3 HDMI ports. Overall I am very pleased this product.

Television looks good,all in all an ok television apart from a couple of things that i found im not to keen on they are:- remote control is really long and big "handy i suppose if your'e always losing it" and also the sound it makes when you turn the television on or off quite annoying and loud "thats just my opinion it might not annoy everybody"would be better if you were able to choose whether to have it on or off all the time "maybe you can but i haven't been able to find out how to unfortunatly",the television is a diffrent shape to the one in picture it is square not rounded but still looks ok.really quick delivery from amazon.

Unbelievably, this set does not have an on/off switch. It can only be turned off at your plug. It's normal state is in stand by mode (so much for energy saving design) Probably not a problem if mounted on a stand but if you are going to wall mount it you probably want to cover the plug and aerial socket to keep them out of sight. This obviously makes it difficult to reach behind to switch off at the plug.

not have bought it in black.

Just took delivery!
been looking for ages for a white framed 32" at a fair price ..
Came in three days! .. fixed the stand and turned it on, it almost set its self! .. very simple, looks better than expected , and lighter .. it is the Series 5 sq. bottom and not the oval type as shown on amerzon.. fairly sure the one shown is the older series 4 !
sound is good and pit is Ok .. could have been just a little better pit but we are happy with it..may be it needs some personaladjustment
The white surround fits in great with our lighter colours.. fitting it to the wall tomorrow, ! if the pit quality was just a little better it would have got a 10 / 10 !
over 100 dig channels set /not sure what the glass bit running along the bottom of the tv is for?
side controls in case you loose the remote :-)
all in all great value.
