 The LG 47lh3000 is Great Value February 26, 2010

So I is looking for a large LCD with good quality at a reasonable price. At first I was looking for a 42" model having seen my friend's lg 42lh3000 he was very happy with his. I thought I would better him with the 47". Initially I was a bit worried as I thought this might be to large for the room.
Initial set-up was very easy. The usability is very comfortable. I watch a lot of videos from my laptop through the hdmi cable and also listen to music through it aswell. The sound is pretty good also.
The 47LH3000 delivers very good quality at top prices. Of course there are devices of higher quality but which are then also more expensive. But you should make sure that you have a sufficiently large living room. A seating distance of 3m, I recommend at least. 4m is ideal from my point of view!

Initially very pleased with the quality of the TV but have discovered a problem, Power/Standby Indicator, illuminates red in standby mode but does not illuminates blue when the TV is switched on. Remote control appears sluggish and does not respond in timely manner.
LG customer service confirmed that there appears to be a fault on television and advice to book for service call.I am really pleased with Amazon customer service, replaced the television without any fuss and refunded the postage charges which I was not even aware.
This television is missing picture-in-picture but does provide plenty of aspect ratio control. After going through Picture Wizard patterns, I ended up with settings quite similar to the default Expert settings. Over all I am really pleased with its performance, price and Ease-of-Use and features

i did alot of research into many televisions of the same size and this television is brilliant value for money,brilliant picture quality,easy to set up,and all my surround sound(panasonic)system,xbox,sky hd,playstation and external cctv camera work a treat-i cant say enough about this television-in my opinion there is no need to look any further for a large flat screen lcd tv-just an all round great purchase!

I purchased this LCD TV from amazon on a next day delivery orderd friday afternoon deliverd saturday morning
that cant be bad, As for the tv this is a nice looking set, The picture is brilliant and the HD wicked
the sound is ok but if you like a more heavy sound you would need a surround system, The tv has plenty
of inputs and an optical output for surround sound, I would recommend this tv 100%

An excellent TV - no major gimics like picture in picture but a very good quality picture, energy saving options, fantasic connections options with plenty of HDMI for High Def TV plus 2 scarts, AV connection and USB port. Altogether an excellent, reasonably priced large screen LCD TV. Do not miss out on this TV.
