Excellent! April 23, 2009 AMP (UK) Very good tv with loads of features, had this for a year now and have no complaints. Be aware that if you plan to use with a xbox360 you will need to buy an audio jack (about £10) to connect the component cable via the aux sockets to get sound.
Great TV March 1, 2008 C. Alexander 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this TV just before Christmas as i wanted to hook up my PS3 so that i could enjoy the experience of the PS3 Blu-ray player. I was immediately impressed with the quality of the picture and the colours that this HD Ready TV shows. I have not noticed any picture judder whilst watching quick action movies or sport. The quality of this TV really comes into its own when hooked up to a PS3 or Blu ray player. The picture and sound qaulity are out of this world. I have since hooked the TV to a panasonic home cinema system which upscales ordinary DVD's to almost 1080i quality. This TV keeps surprising me with how good it is and has given my older DVD's a new lease of life. This is a definate improvement on the first generation of Philips Pixel Plus. SO if you want a great TV at a great price that really shows what a PS3 or Xbox 360 can do with games, or to simply watch TV or DVD's then this is the one for you.
Excellent TV February 4, 2008 Master1 (England, UK) Brilliant quality image and very good sound.
Found the remote control small and a bit fiddely.
Lots of connectors! (Scart, HDMI, etc).
Displays up to 1080i.
At last, Amazon have sold me a telly, and it's a cracker December 1, 2007 D. Watson (Leeds, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After four or five cancelled orders as Amazon and its Marketplace partners advertised non-existent stock or ridiculous prices, I finally managed to get this TV ordered, paid for and delivered. It was worth the effort. The picture is superb and the set is a joy to use and view. Even with a set-top aeriel we get perfect Digital Freeview reception with stunning picture quality. We also feed it with a combo DVD/VHS via scart and it is again very good. The sound is perfectly acceptable for built-in speakers, and more than adequate for bedroom use. We even like the simple but elegant styling. Excellent.
Great TV for the price November 18, 2007 Shkimpy (UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I cannot fault this tv, simple to install and looks & sounds great. With a little tweaking of the on screen options you can get the picture looking sharp, bright, contrasty and deep, very good compared to other LCD's I have seen. I can highly recommend TV. However, I would strongly advise purchasing this from someone other than Amazon as I had a very frustrating experience with their so called 'guaranteed' next day delivery. Don't trust this service, you WILL be let down.
