The item offered was condition NEW. The item delivered was not new.
It was not sealed in the manufactuer's box.
On opening, the internal packing was broken and the item had clearly been out of the box previously.
The item was dusty, showing it had been used.
Theres was no guarantee card.
There was no remote control.
There was no instruction booklet.
I have asked for it to be collected and my money returned - so far this has not been achieved.
Sony KDL-32W4000 March 10, 2009 Mr. Roy A. Davey A very nice looking TV which was easy to instal and initialise. Probably the best TV pictures I have seen and I haven't accessed HD yet!

Sony KDL-32W4000 wholeheartedly recommend February 9, 2009 nog55 (Devon GB) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We have had our Sony KDL-32W4000 for two months now & have been delighted with it.As other reviewers said, it was very simple to set up, the menu system is v. easy to understand (can assure you I'm no good these things at all!)The only thing I would say to be aware of is the securing of the stand to what ever you are going to stand it on.I screwed it to our wooden unit through a hole that is provided,Sony recommends you connect it with a cord somehow to stop the chance of it toppling over.If you were standing it on a glass unit you would have secure it some other way.Apart from that, fantastic picture, secure with beautiful colours, good sound & looks good in the corner of our 12x12 room.I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anybody.
Perfect TV for Smaller Rooms February 7, 2009 L. McLaughlin (Worcester, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great TV for medium to small rooms. It's styling is discrete for a TV of this size.
The picture is superb, with vivid colours and great contrast. It copes well with a range of resolutions producing very watch able pictures from SD sources. Of course it comes into its own with a decent HD stream, BluRay disks look fantastic as does SkyHD.
I've used it for gaming and as a monitor, and it performs well with both, with no noticeable smearing or tearing.
It should also be said the sound quality is very good for in built speakers, of course not as good as a decent AV receiver but probably the best built ins I've heard for a while.
My only grips are the small delay when swapping resolutions (say from a 1080i to 576i) and the fact you can't use the Bravia link with a PS3 (the PS3 uses bluetooth for its remotes, the Bravia uses IR).
Well worth spending the money if you've got it.
